Family Support Services (FSS) is a funding program that enables persons with health illness, and their families, to be maintained at home and offer supports that enable the person to live independently in the community.

In order to be eligible for FSS funding, clients must reside in Westmoreland County and be open to Westmoreland Casemanagement and Supports, Inc. Priority will be given to clients who are actively being treated in the public behavioral health system (such as partial hospitalization or outpatient treatment) or those who are in a more restrictive environment.

Eligibility for FSS

Funding is very limited and based on availability. Approval is based on the FSS guidelines for appropriate use and there are limits to requests. Please see your Administrative Manager or Targeted Case Manager for information.

All of our case managers have been trained to understand the Family Support Services policies, procedures and guidelines. If you would like to know if your family qualified for FSS Funding, please call your primary WCSI case manager to discuss their need.
