Operating as the Base Service Unit (BSU) for mental health and mental retardation services in Westmoreland County, WCSI provides efficient, cost effective, high quality case management and supports coordination services for mental health and mental retardation clients in the western Pennsylvania region as well as youth employment training through a partnership program with the Westmoreland-Fayette Workforce Investment Board and the Pennsylvania CareerLink.

From Intake to Targeted Case Management, Early Intervention to Out of School Youth training, WCSI offers many specialized service programs, most of which are based on eligibility requirements and all of which are designed to provide individuals and their families with a flexible path to the most relevant and effective resources, care and treatment based on their own circumstances.

Accordingly, our staff consists of highly trained, compassionate, competent professionals committed to providing person-centered, strengths-based services that will enhance the client's individual ability to meet self determined needs and participate as valued, integrated members of their community.
