WCSI MH Intake serves as the point of entry into the mental health system in Westmoreland County. The WCSI Mental Health Intake team is comprised of Master Level Mental Health Professionals who provide a thorough and individualized clinical assessment to assist the client in accessing community mental health services. The Intake Specialist will also assess for any case management or crisis services and facilitate the necessary referrals.

Intake and Registration
Referrals can be made via telephone or in person. When contacting us, ask to speak to the on-call Intake Specialist.
There are several ways you may register for Mental Health (MH) services. These include:
- Contact the WCSI MH Intake Department by calling 724-837-8290, or 1-800-353-6467
- Visit our Greensburg office located at 770 East Pittsburgh Street.

Required Information
Whether calling or visiting in person, be prepared to provide the following information regarding the individual for whom services are being requested:
- Full name, current address, and telephone number
- Social security number
- Date of birth
- Health insurance information
- Financial status and/or gross household income for individuals without insurance
- Name and phone number of one emergency contact
- Presenting problem or reason for referral
- Names and phone numbers of probation officers and/or Children's Bureau caseworkers (if applicable)
What Happens Next?
If the person is determined to be eligible for services, you will be asked to schedule an intake appointment at the WCSI location nearest you.
