Early Intervention

Early Intervention (EI) is a program that assists families in developing their special needs child's potential. All children grow and learn at different rates. Children who are developing more slowly than typical children may be eligible for Early Intervention services and supports. The WCSI EI program can help families determine eligibility and then coordinate the specific services that best meet the child's and family's needs.

Families with infants and toddlers from birth to three (3) years of age who have special needs due to developmental delays or disabilities may apply for service coordination through the WCSI EI program.

Children ages 3 to 5 may be served by the Westmoreland Intermediate Unit Early Intervention Program.
